The Fashion Inspiration Of China
The Met Ball has announced it’s theme for this
year: Chinese Whisper.
The choice of China comes as no surprise this
year as an increasing number of designers are turning their eyes towards China.
From many designs, we can tell that Chinese elements have played an important
role, including John Galliano’s designs for Christian Dior, Tom Ford’s designs
for Yves Saint Laurent and Marc Jacobs’s designs for Louis Vuitton. The unique
and often mysterious Eastern style combines with modern interpretations.
This is how fashion surprised the world.
